About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and reliable consultant who will help us build an innovative new printer system in partnership with Siemens for a large European 3D construction printing development project, as well as enhance our truss printer kits for full commercialization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechatronics, robotics, and automation, and a passion for sustainable innovation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, test, cost, and optimize robotic systems for 3D construction printing.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for robotic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain robotic hardware and software systems for clients.
  • Design and carry out training for clients on use of robotic systems. 
  • Conduct field tests and iterate on designs based on real-world feedback.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with robotic system design, automation, and control systems.
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and 3D printing technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Passion for sustainability and environmental impact reduction in construction.
